The Reader Program
Readers are an essential part of The Audition Lab. They provide the neutral, professional read that mirrors real audition conditions.
Compensation
Readers receive one complimentary Audition Lab class per reading shift. Complimentary classes are one-for-one and non-transferable.
Reader Ethos
All readers must understand and adhere to these standards:
Never give notes, publicly or privately
Maintain professional conduct at all times
Qualification Requirement
If you have not previously performed in The Audition Lab, you must qualify by submitting a self-tape, demo reel, or auditioning in person before reading.
Apply to Read
Provide a neutral, fluent, unobtrusive read that supports the actor's work without steering it
Familiarize yourself with scenes in advance — not cold reads — without memorization or performance choices
